Alright, in the spirit of “done is better than perfect” we have part 1 of what’s going to have to be a series on how Christianity shapes and defines some basic assumptions and beliefs in Western/White culture. This is NOT a condemnation of Christians or Christianity and we are relying more on how Christianity is taught rather than what’s explicitly in the Bible – which means that yes, there are some contradictions. The purpose in bringing these topics up is to allow them to be questioned and explored, not necessarily to change minds.
