I’ve been reading the tarot cards for a really long time – well over 10 years, which is a long time to be doing anything, really. I love reading the tarot cards – I find them to be an excellent resource to give you an objective perspective on a situation and to help explore the future.
The way I read the cards emphasizes personal choice. I like to look at where you are, where you want to go, and what you can do to get there. I like to use them as a tool not to just predict the future, but to also influence and change it into something that you want. After all, what point in seeing the future if there’s nothing you can do about it? So my readings have a strong focus on what you can do now to get where you want to go and I think that’s really important.
With as much experience as I have with reading the cards, I find they also help me take a step back from a situation. Again, they provide some objectivity and using them reminds me not to marry myself to any particular outcome. Another thing I like to check for with tarot readings is what the healthiest course of action is. Maybe I want a promotion at my job, but it turns out that I’d be better off looking for a new one. This is something I would definitely want to know! And then I’d want to know what I could do to get a job that was better for me in the long run and then follow that course as best I could.
Instead of allowing a tarot reading to dictate my life to me, I like to use it to help make decisions in my life – provide some insight into what my options are and what possibilities are out there. Maybe I haven’t even thought of something or when considered I dismissed something really good for me. So I read the tarot cards to get this extra insight so I can be in better control of my life and I like to do the same for my clients, too.
