In all my experience as a tarot reader, ‘Is he/she the one?’ is the question I’m asked most often and the trickiest one to answer. While the answer is a simple yes/no, the delivery is crucial. As a psychic advisor, the words I choose may well effect decisions people make with their lives.
What people mean when they ask this question is if they’re going to be with this person for the rest of their lives and, 9 times out of 10, if the answer is ‘no’, they’re gone. They don’t want any part of the relationship anymore. But, like with all events and obstacles in life, experiences serve to get us to where we need to be. What if, through you current relationship, that soul mate relationship becomes attainable. What if you learn a valuable lesson – say, how to be in a relationship – through your current relationship, even though it’s technically ‘doomed’? Or what if your soul mate is your current boy/girlfriend’s second cousin, whom you’ll never meet if the relationship lasts less than two years. Then again, maybe you’re just wasting your time well and truly when you should spend your energy doing something else, such as focusing on your career, family, spirituality, etc.
What I would love to see is if this question changed to ‘is he/she the one for right now?’ That question will tell us if this is a relationship you’re supposed to be in or if it isn’t. If you should stick around and see how it goes, what happens, etc. or if you really should be focusing your energy elsewhere. In fact, I’d like to add ‘for right now’ to the ‘is this the right job’ or any other similar questions. In addition, it leaves a little mystery in things and encourages people to live in the now instead of in the future.
As a society, we are so concerned with tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, 10 years from now that we forget to live life now! But I suppose that’s a complaint for another post.
So, are you where you need to be right now and, if not, what should you do to get there? This is the kind of question that will truly advance your life in the direction it’s supposed to be going instead of the super simple completely useless answers that you can get from asking more definitive questions.
